Terms of Service

These terms are a deal between you and Aneta Kahleová (“we”, “us”), who runs Bossy. By creating an account or using Bossy, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

What Bossy is

Bossy is an AI accountability assistant. It turns your goals into a plan and a calendar, sends you reminders (for example on Telegram), and chats with you about your progress. It is a productivity tool, not a doctor, therapist, lawyer or financial advisor. AI can make mistakes, so use your own judgment, especially for anything involving your health, money or safety.

Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old to use Bossy.
• Use a real email address and keep your password safe. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• One person per account, please.

Free trial, payment and cancellation

• New accounts get a 7-day free trial.
• After the trial, Bossy costs $12 per month (plus any tax that applies), billed monthly in advance through Stripe.
• You can cancel anytime. Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and then stops renewing.
• We don't usually refund partial months, but if something went wrong, email us and we'll be reasonable.
• If we change the price, we'll email you at least 30 days before it affects you.

Tone and content

Bossy is designed to be blunt and push you, at the intensity you pick. If you turn on “spicy” mode, it may use profanity. You can change the tone anytime. Don't use Bossy to harass anyone, break the law, or try to break or abuse the service (including the AI).

Your content

Your goals, tasks and messages are yours. You allow us to store and process them only to run Bossy for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Third-party services

Bossy sends check-ins through Telegram or your browser's push service, offers a calendar subscription link for Google, Apple and Outlook calendars, uses Stripe for payments, and uses AI models from OpenAI and Google (via Vercel AI Gateway) to generate replies and plans. Those services have their own terms, and we're not responsible for their outages or changes.

Availability and liability

We work hard to keep Bossy running, but it's provided “as is”, without a guarantee that it will always be available or error-free, or that you'll hit your goals (that part is on you). To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the last 3 months.

Your data and ending things

You can download a copy of your data and delete your account yourself, anytime, in Settings. Deleting your account removes your goals, tasks, chat history and memories and cancels any subscription. We may suspend accounts that break these terms. We may update these terms; if a change is significant, we'll let you know before it takes effect.
